Bobby Dominski is a life-long Bison. He started his playing career in 2003 with Boulder Hockey Club. In 2008 and 2010 he played for the USA Hockey National Championships as a player with the Boulder Bison. He also played Junior Hockey for the Jr Bison and the Puget Sound Tomahawks.
Bobby began his coaching career after his playing days and has coached at all levels including teaching in the Learn to Play program. Bobby has his Level 4 USA Hockey Coaching certification and has completed the 10U, 12U, and 14U age specific coaching modules.
He was awarded with the Boulder Hockey Club Coach of the Year in 2016 for his success, hard work, and dedication to these young men and women.
Jill is a Colorado native that began her skating career at nine years old, under world renowned Olympic coach Don Laws (coach of Olympic & World champion Scott Hamilton). She trained & competed in all four disciplines of skating but specialized in Pairs skating. During her competitive career, she became a United States Figure Skating Triple Gold Medalist. She is a three time U.S. National Championship competitor and International Team USA member. She and her partner were also members of the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs.
She began her coaching career after the 1988 Olympics & initially only trained figure skaters. A chance meeting of NHL power skating coach Steffany Hanlen and a 6-month mentorship changed everything. Power skating for hockey became her new passion.
Other coaching credentials include holding a Senior Freestyle & Certified Group rating from The Professional Skaters Association and a Level 4 Hockey Power Skating Certification. Jill is also a USAH level 2 certified coach and is committed furthering her ice hockey coaching education.
Currently Jill works with 8U, 10U, and 12U teams at BHC. Other coaching duties at BHC include the Tuesday morning Power Skate sessions & Power Skate camps. She is also a guest instructor for Kitchner/ Waterloo Hockey Club camps in Ontario and camps for the University of Delaware.
Jill graduated from CU, Boulder with a BA in Communications & a minor in Kinesiology. She is also a ACSM certified trainer. Her unique background , education and technical knowledge of skating enables her to help develop complete athletes.
