Trevor Mathewson

  • Grade: 9
  • Hobbies: Trumpet, Piano, Snowboarding, Hiking, and Hunting
  • Coach Comments: Trevor is a player that just doesn't quit and even though he isn't the biggest kid on the ice he plays like he is. He has worked extremely hard and never complains. His commitment to the team and himself is worthy of the award, he is a good kid and does well in school.

Will Sinclair

  • School:  Sunset Middle School
  • Grade:  7
  • Hobbies: Hockey, Hockey, & More Hockey!
  • Coach Comments:  Will has really stepped up over the course of the year and has displayed strong leadership abilities. He has become a positive secondary voice in the locker room and he combines it with a very high work ethic out on the ice. He plays with an enthusiasm and love for the game that is rarely matched. He is also very coachable, taking positive criticism and acknowledging mistakes as a player who wants to get better.

  • Coach Comments:  Wilson, a second year squirt had an unbelievable month of January. He lead the team with 9G and 4 assists in 3 league games (2-6pts games) His contribution in the MLK tournament was also significant resulting in the team reaching the semi-finals. Wilson responded to coach’s challenge from a message to the team in late December: "more points on the scoreboard!"
